The Team

Electrical is responsible for the electronic components in the microgrid. The group will design and build all of the necessary converters themselves, this includes the wind turbine, the solar cell, the battery pack and the power supply. In addition, the group will design and build a control system that coordinates between production, consumption and storage. The group will also work on the dimensioning of the electrical system for the power supply.

This group will create equivalent models for every part of the microgrid. They will also be simulating and testing the grid system.

Using mobile network for sending sensor data. The team also creates programming algorhitms to micro controllers for battery management and steady voltage sensing.

This group designs the micro grid, choosing types, sizes and models of batteries and solar panels based on stochastic model simulations.

Production designs and builds the physical systems for the microgrid. This includes mounting structures for PV panels, fire-safe electrical enclosures, grounding solutions, material procurement, and installation. The group ensures all components are safely and effectively implemented, and plays a crucial role in transforming plans into reality, from concept and design to installation and commissioning.
