The marketing and finance group is responsible for acquiring sufficient funds and components for the project. The group is also responsible for the marketing of Gridville, through the website, newsletters and social media accounts.

Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical is responsible for the design and construction of the wind turbine. The group will design the turbine blades, the gear system and the braking system, as well as the “nacelle“ and “the hub“ for the turbine. The generator for will be purchased in the first cycle.

Electrical Engineering
Electrical is responsible for the electronic components in the microgrid. The group will design and build all of the necessary converters themselves, this includes the wind turbine, the solar cell, the battery pack and the power supply. In addition, the group will design and build a control system that coordinates between production, consumption and storage. The group will also work on the dimensioning of the electrical system for the power supply.
